They are still being actively developed by Apple, so there is a significant amount of various issues associated with them.Īll the more reason to keep in mind that BigSur is still in beta version, there are regular updates that in theory may contain changes that disrupt the operation of our application.Īnd in order to support our users who decided to upgrade to BigSur, we try to find solutions and fix the issues in the shortest possible time. Unfortunately, as a replacement for Kernel Extensions, Network Extensions aren't around for long yet (they first appeared in this role in macOS 10.15). The main change was the addition of System extension support on BigSur. Used earlier old framework named Kernel Extensions - was declared as deprecated.

Version 2.5.0 was aimed precisely at improving compatibility with the new operating system. Hello, I will try to clarify the situation.

I wouldn't complain for open source software, but AdGuard is software that people have already paid money for. This was especially weird, because in the meantime, the non-paid version with in-app purchases got the following updates: 3.0, 3.0.1, 3.0.2, 3.1, 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.1.4, 4.0 - so it kind of looks like, once you buy the app, you're not as important as users using the free app and have subscriptions, which they are able to cancel?

For iOS it took a couple of months, probably because a new UI was on the way, and then finally there was an update from 2.1.2 to 4.0.1. This is the third time that after an iOS or macOS update AdGuard breaks the internet.and the updates apparently take a lot of time. I have bought an AdGuard license and am using the macOS Big Sur beta (which works very well), but don't feel comfortable installing a nightly build of AdGuard just to make it work.if I did install the nightly build, would it then get normal stable updates in the future? Even just enabling it, without any filters, breaks the uld you hotfix this into an update, since this issue was closed eight days ago and this bug breaks the internet? Or do you have a beta version?
